A large comfortable open plan pub in the centre of the village. The pub welcomes all and is very dog friendly. A function room is also available. There are real fires and three distinct areas with one of them mainly for dining. There are four changing cask beers from far and near. There is a small outdoor drinking area for the summer months.

They have various awards for their food including Number 18 in the Estrella Damm UK Top 50 Gastropubs 2025, Hayfield's first ever entry into the Michelin Guide, Harden's UK Restaurant Guide 2025.
