Situated next to St. Georges church in the centre of the village and less than a mile from M1 J12,the pub offers a frequently changing range of up to five real ales, usually including beers from Tring and Greene King, and holds two beer festivals a year. The restaurant features an ancient well, and a beer garden to the rear. Live music or karaoke fairly often occur on weekend evenings. Seven letting bedrooms are available. May close earlier if quiet.
