Lively and large two-bar modern pub in a residential area of Luton next to Asda supermarket. Beer festivals are held in April and October each year. The interior has a comfortable lounge with a dining area where food is served. The sports bar has two large HD screens and 3D TV showing sports TV and the Luton Town channel. Live music features fortnightly on Saturdays. Large function room available.

The Charter Market Quarter has many historical links. One of the only free-standing medieval civic clock towers, the site of the First Battle of St. Albans in 1455, during the Wars of the Roses. Allegedly the Boot Inn played host to soldiers fighting in the battle. There used to be 23 pubs around the Market area!
