A tidy, lively, one-bar, traditional pub with a very welcoming atmosphere and varied clientele. A proper pub with regular beers from the Greene King, St Austell and Timothy Taylor's breweries. Sports are very popular on the multiple TVs. There is a very pleasant patio area out the back, seating in front of the pub and as well as a covered archway.
