Award-winning pub restaurant dating in part from the Tudor period, serving excellent food and beer. The main bar has an open fire and a second room is used for diners and functions. There is a large garden with decking beside a pond. The pub has no prominent signage. Closed from Christmas until the second week of January each year.

At least one constantly changing cask beer from breweries like Adnams, Butcombe, Fuller's, Greene King, and Nene Valley.
