Spacious Wetherspoon serving breakfast and meals all day. Conversion of church retaining many original features. Airy upwards past the huge, dished chandellier and balcony to the vaulted ceiling bathed in light. Toilets are via the pulpit [key accessible toilet downstairs]. Various seating options; stools, tables and chairs and booths. Paved outside seating area on a busy road, gets some sun. News with subtitles usually shown on small TV screens. Can be busy on Friday evening, Saturday, Sunday and Ayr races.

Conversion

This former church was built in 1845 and closed in 1981. It retains the first-floor balcony, but it is not currently in use. There is a raised wooden pulpit where you can sit and admire the whole pub. Many original features have been retained by Wetherspoon's, such as fine stained-glass windows.
