A mile south of the town centre and a 20-minute walk from the rail station, this fine Scottish baronial-style building has been owned by the same family since 1966. The real is to be found in the delightful and aptly named Copper Bar. There is a pleasant dining room and a games room with TV showing sports. Book ahead for meals. Close to the seafront, with golf courses, parks and Burns attractions nearby. Stopped selling real ale in 2023 after a change of ownership.
