18th century town centre pub positioned amongst market buildings and next to the town's church which can be clearly seen from the huge, if slightly ramshackle, outside drinking area. This has a huge screen which can feature sporting events. Inside you will find a quirky, multi-roomed pub where live events are a feature. Beer prices seem to vary with the time of day, starting cheapest at opening and rising to peak in the early hours.
