An original chain of four brewpubs is down to this one brewpub and two pubs. Brewing is carried out in Bristol for all three pubs and supplied to Reading and London by road transport.
Brewing is via a computer-controlled, German plant producing unfiltered and unfined ales and lagers. All beers use natural ingredients, are suitable for vegetarians, and are served from tanks using air pressure (not CO2), and are approved by CAMRA as real ale. All the beer is brewed on-site with the equipment visible behind the bar. As well as the core beers, up to four ever-changing house specials are served and have become more adventurous over time. Several balconies and outdoor seating areas are available until 10pm.
