When the Bookmakers Arms micropub closed in 2024, eight community spirited locals took over the premises reimagining it into The Charing Bar Company. A cosy one roomer with a low ceiling and large street windows, high seating at the bar counter and windows, plus low tables and chairs.

Cask Ales, draught lagers, bottled cider, local spirits, juices and low alcohol drinks, plus an extensive list of wines.

Bar snacks and meat/cheese platters are also available.
