This is a club, which means that the bar may only be open to club members.

Cricket has been played in Hythe since at least 1856/7 with squash and football commencing in the 1970's along with the construction of the clubhouse. Unfortunately this was destroyed in an arson attack in 2004 but was rebuilt and reopened by ex-Kent & England cricketer Derek Underwood in 2006. Now the bar@the Grove is a good place to relax after enjoying one of the many sports or exercise activities available.
