Wood-lined, rustic bar forming part of a small family run hotel in the highest village in the Highlands. Wide range of home cooked food featuring local produce with vegetarian choices available.

Nordic and downhill skiing are close by as are an extensive range of mountain bike trails plus, of course, the distilleries of Speyside.

Route over the A939 from Cockbridge usually the first to be blocked due to winter snow but alternate access via Dufftown is usually possible.

Three real ales are now available all year round.

It appears that Stagecoach no longer offer a service to Tomintoul. However, if you look up m.connect at http://www.moray.gov.uk/moray_standard/page_125954.html, there are services from Grantown-on-Spey (364) and services from Keith via Dufftown.
