Ancient coaching inn underneath the famous gallows sign stretching across the road. After a long period of closure (well over seven years), the Green Man woke again in September 2018. The original bar areas are long turned over to retail shop areas, but a new bar and restaurant has been created down the courtyard in the area last occupied by Leatherbritches Brewery. 3 regular cask ales are offered, together with a wide selection of wines, gins, rums and whiskies. High quality food is served from the open view kitchen. Note restricted hours for the full menus, but bar snacks are served throughout the day until 9pm.
