Craft ale taproom & bottle shop.

Opened 20/07/18 as Maison du Biere. Rebranded June 2020 to House of Beer.

Combined bottle shop and craft ale taproom in a former antique shop. 10 Keykeg taps. Front area contains 400 world beers and ciders, including a good selection of British breweries, both local and nationwide. Many examples of RAIB, Minipins also available. 4 cider taps introduced late autumn 2018. Named local CAMRA branch POTY for 2021.

Changed hands 2023, named Spring Pub of the Season 2024, two real ale handpumps introduced Summer 2024, further named Winter Pub of the Season 2024.
