This is a restaurant, where drinking alcohol, including draught and bottled beer, is only allowed when food is being consumed.

Opened in the summer of 2015, the Perch is located on Lancing Beach. It is a modern casual restaurant/cafe serving everything from fish and chips through to coffee and cake in the cafe area. It has been built where the Mermaid, and later, Connor's Bar stood.

Customers are welcome to buy drinks without having a meal.

Opening hours are longer in the summer.
