Opened in October 2013 by the former licensee at the Geese Over the Water pub in Southover Street B'ton, hence the name. The pub gives the impression of having been a fixture for years. A clever mix of traditional ambience with modern management and cellaring. The landlord emphasises quality above all in his beer and food and positively welcomes the discerning pub goer. With a seafront location and tables outside, this is a pub for the local drinker, the tourist and those in search of interesting beers in a calm and conversational atmosphere. No longer serves Real Ale (August 2018).
