This smart hotel is a historic inn dating from C16 (featured in Fielding's novel 'Tom Jones'). It offers three beers from Donnington, meals and accommodation.

The bar is tucked away to the right past a small lounge area, while to the left is an area set up for dining, and it also has comfy sofas in the front window overlooking the main street. There is a pleasant mixture of old beams and Georgian panelling.

A corridor up the middle leads to a covered outside area and beyond that the garden (with a stage) and a small car park. Dogs are welcome plus there is outside seating on the rear patio area.

Local buses stop nearby, providing convenient transport to and from local campsites.

Low step at the entrance and level access into the main rooms and WCs. There is a fully adapted WC. The garden corridor has a short ramp replacing a small step, and level access through the garden to the small car park. The car park is very rough in places.
