Pub garden champ turns back the clock

The first pub to win West Dorset CAMRA’s Pub Garden of the Year competition back in 2017, the Spyway Inn, has done it again this year. The Spyway Inn, Askerwell lies in the shadow of Eggardon Hill and with distant views of Golden Cap and Marshwood Vale just off the A35 between Dorchester and Bridport.  Set on a slight incline to the rear of the pub, the garden is bordered by shrubbery, hedging and a small stream with a large acer tree directly outside the entrance to the bar.
