Ely Brewers: Making the finest ales since Anglo Saxon times!Discover over a thousand years of local brewing history, at our new exhibition, ‘Who Brewed Beer?’, through the stories of the people who made it. Making alcoholic drinks out of fermented grain has a long history in East Anglia and this temporary exhibition invites you to find out more about the people who brewed at different times in history, from the medieval monks to the present day local brewers. Also, learn more about the ingredients and how they’ve changed. You can even smell some of the odours in the brewing process!The brewing exhibition is included with an Ely Museum standard admission ticket or a valid annual pass.
