This social combines visits to two traditional pubs in the south of the borough. We begin at 18:30 at the Black Horse which has improved its real ale offering in recent years and is worth a visit if you haven’t tried it recently. Despite its remote location in Biggin Hill, the pub is easy to get to since it has a bus stop outside its front door on the high-frequency 320 route which starts in Catford and passes both Bromley North and Bromley South stations.

We begin at 18:30 at the Black Horse which has improved its real ale offering in recent years and is worth a visit if you haven’t tried it recently. Alight at Biggin Hill/Black Horse. Routes 246, 464 and R2 also serve this stop, but are less frequent.
We will then continue at 19.30pm to The Queens Head, Downe, via the R8 bus, from the bus stop opposite the Black Horse.
To return to Bromley following our visit to the Queens Head, we will take the 146 bus from outside Downe Church, which is scheduled to depart at 10.20.
