The Great British Beer Festival comes to Birmingham
The Campaign for Real Ale’s (CAMRA) flagship event will return 5-9 August 2025 at the NEC Birmingham, with tickets now on sale.
The Great British Beer Festival is making a triumphant return next summer following a hiatus in 2024. The UK’s premier beer festival will take place 5-9 August 2025.
For the first time since 1983, The Great British Beer Festival will be hosted in the West Midlands, with the flagship festival set to be staged at the iconic NEC Birmingham. The renowned exhibition centre has excellent rail and air links making it the perfect new venue for beer lovers from the UK and abroad.
CAMRA members can purchase their tickets with a significant discount. For information on tickets for The Great British Beer Festival 2025, go to the website: https://greatbritishbeerfestival.co.uk/
Now in its 47th year, the highly anticipated return of The Great British Beer Festival will celebrate the best of UK brewing and beyond, with a huge range of fantastic drinks all under one roof. Visitors can look forward to trying hundreds of different beers as well as visit bars dedicated to real cider and perry, and cocktails.
Alongside the assurance of quality beer, cider and perry, festivalgoers will be treated to a plethora of entertainment, a range of quality food and pub-style games. For those who want to learn more about their favourite drinks, there will be opportunities to connect with brewers like Thornbridge and Elusive Brewing, and get up close and personal with ingredients on our educational Discovery Bar in partnership with Brewser, which will have new guided tastings each day.
The Great British Beer Festival 2025 is proud to announce 17 launch partners. The breweries on board are Thornbridge, Greene King, Harvey’s, Siren Craft Brew, Oakham, Woodforde’s, Batemans, Ossett Brewery, Brains and Theakston. Alongside these breweries, the British Institute of Innkeepers (BII), the Society of Independent Brewers and Associates (SIBA), Cask Marque, JD Wetherspoon, Visit Birmingham (West Midlands Growth Corporation), Brewser, and Beer 52 are all partnering with the festival. We’re also delighted to announce that the Caravan and Motorhome Club will be operating a temporary campsite at the NEC Birmingham so attendees will be able to stay near to the festival. Bookings can be made from 2 October 2024 by visiting camc.com/gbbfpopup
CAMRA’s prestigious Champion Beer of Britain 2025 competition will also return to the festival next year. The overall winners will be announced on the first day of the festival, and the beers in each winning category will be available to try.
