This Pub is Closed Long Term

Historic pub on the A476 opposite Llannon church. Once it was a stop on the stage coach route from London to Ireland. An old well has been exposed in the separate dining room and there is reputed to be a tunnel linking the bar with the church over the road.

Historic Interest

An old coaching inn, with traces of a thatched roof under the present slates. . An old well has been uncovered in the dining room, and a secret passage to the church is reputed to exist.
