ON 21 MAY 2024, PLANNING PERMISSION (REF. 24/00824/OUT) WAS GRANTED BY CITY OF BRADFORD MDC TO DEMOLISH THE PUB AND REPLACE IT WITH HOUSING. ON 02 JUNE 2024, IT WAS REPORTED THE PUB HAD BEEN DEMOLISHED. ON FURTHER INESTIGAITON, PLANNING APPLICATIONS (REFS. 24/00824/OUT AND 24/04122/REM) HAD SUBSEQUENTLY BEEN SUBMITTED (AND GRANTED) TO BUILD 4 HOUSES ON THE PLOT. IN SEP 2025, THE SITE OF THE DEMOLISHED PUB HAD STILL NOT BEEN DEVELOPED.

Pleasant, well-kept ex-Ramsdens hostelry. The premises have been opened up but still retains a multi-room feel with a bar area located to the rear.

When visited in Oct 2022 and May 2023, the pub was closed and there was a "For Sale" sign displayed with "Terms Agreed" posted to it. The agent is Atkinson Associates.
