This Pub is Permanently Closed

A small, unpretentious roadside local, which serves as the notional brewery tap of the nearby Stroud Brewery. Hand pumps serve to display pump clips, but all the beers are poured straight from the cask, stored in a temperature controlled servery behind the bar. Moles Black Rat cider is available on draught. Pub games such as cribbage and quoits are popular. The pub boasts fine engraved windows of a horse and haywain. The inn sign repeats the design, with the addition of a motorcycle; the pub is the meeting place of the Gloucestershire Branch of the Ducati Owners' Club.
